Knights
The authenticity of the households that take part in re-enactment is such that a hierarchy exists within them. There is the head of the household and under him are those who have been knighted. A knighthood is granted not through the length of time a person has been a group member but rather, as it was in real life, it has to be earned through good fighting skills, a chivalric attitude and pleasant manor and through mucking in with any group tasks that have to be carried out, and of course turning up for battles.
